The 60th Anniversary Season of LYC begins this July with our adult Lascito Coro FREE concert season in July & August! Youth Choir auditions are held in August and 3rd-12th graders can schedule TODAY! A partnership concert with Louisville Chorus launches our youth choir season!

Lascito Coro—Legacy Choir–is an adult choral ensemble originally created in 2008 for alumnae from LYC and Sacred Heart Academy (SHA) due to LYC’s Artists in Residence at Sacred Heart School for the Arts.

Over the years, this choir has grown from just LYC & SHA alums to also include staff and board members to where it is now–bringing together ALL interested sopranos and altos from across our region to present an annual summer concert series that will ultimately benefit youth.

No previous/current affiliation with SHA or LYC is required to participate–open to all!

Funeral Arrangements for Martha Gibbs:

Fern Creek Funeral Home: Viewing and Service on Saturday, May 30th from Noon-2pm.

Frankfort Cemetery:
Internment on Monday, June 15th at 2pm.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of former long-time LYC employee, Martha Gibbs. She was a "music mom" to many, "The Music Fairy" as our librarian and a friend to all. She led with love and an infectious laugh and had a spirit for service. We love her and will miss her...🎶💗🎶
