The Kentucky Black Film Association, Ed Hamilton Studio & Visitors Center and Black Birth Justice proudly present a special screening of Listen to Me.

Directed by Stephanie Etienne and Kanika Harris, Listen to Me is a powerful documentary that centers the voices, experiences, and realities of Black women and birthing people. Through intimate storytelling, the film explores birth, healthcare, advocacy, and the strength of community in the face of ongoing maternal health disparities.

This is more than a film screening, it's an opportunity to listen, learn, reflect, and engage in critical conversations about birth justice and reproductive equity.

🎟 Mark your calendars, invite your village, and join us as we amplify stories that deserve to be heard.

✨ Restored. Empowered. Reimagined. ✨

Black Birth Justice had the honor of attending Leadership Reimagined in New Orleans.

As leaders, advocates, and changemakers, we spend so much of our time pouring into our communities, supporting families, and advancing reproductive justice. Leadership Reimagined reminded us that leaders need spaces to be nurtured, supported, and poured into as well.

Through transformative peer coaching, meaningful conversations, and phenomenal facilitators, we gained new tools, fresh perspectives, and a renewed sense of purpose. We arrived excited and curious. We left feeling restored, empowered, and ready to continue the work with even greater intention.

Thank you to the Ms. Foundation for Women for investing in leaders and organizations committed to creating lasting change. We carry these lessons, connections, and inspiration back to Louisville and into every family and community we serve.
