Today, we celebrate a major Louisville, Kentucky small-business win on the national stage — and we give special thanks to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for featuring Louisville Beauty Academy among America’s Top 100 Small Businesses. 🇺🇸💛

Louisville Beauty Academy has reached a rare national milestone — not just for beauty education, but for Kentucky small business, immigrant entrepreneurship, workforce development, and affordable career training.

In 2025, Louisville Beauty Academy was named a U.S. Chamber of Commerce CO—100 Honoree, recognized among America’s Top 100 Small Businesses in the Enduring Businesses category.

To our knowledge, based on the public 2025 CO—100 list, Louisville Beauty Academy stands as the only Kentucky small business recognized in this national group — and one of the clearest examples of how a local Louisville institution can represent Kentucky on the national small-business stage.

Even more remarkably, in the same year, Louisville Beauty Academy’s founder and CEO, Di Tran, was also recognized by the National Small Business Association as a 2025 Lew Shattuck Small Business Advocate of the Year Finalist.

That places Louisville Beauty Academy at a rare national intersection:

🏆 U.S. Chamber of Commerce CO—100 Honoree
🏆 America’s Top 100 Small Businesses recognition
🏆 NSBA Lew Shattuck Small Business Advocate of the Year Finalist recognition
🏆 Louisville Business First Most Admired CEO recognition
🏆 Congressional recognition connected to Congressman Morgan McGarvey
🏆 Kentucky Colonel recognition
🏆 JFCS MOSAIC recognition
🏆 A growing series of local, state, community, and national honors

This is not just an award story.

This is a Louisville story.
This is a Kentucky story.
This is an American small-business story.
This is an immigrant-founded workforce story.
This is a beauty education story being elevated to a national economic-development story.

Louisville Beauty Academy has helped nearly 2,000 students move toward licensure, career dignity, business ownership, and family stability through affordable, multilingual, practical beauty education.

And now, from Louisville, Kentucky, this academy is being recognized nationally for endurance, advocacy, service, and impact.

What makes this even more meaningful is that this recognition is not built on luxury, debt, or exclusivity.

It is built on affordability.
It is built on access.
It is built on multilingual support.
It is built on hard-working students.
It is built on instructors who serve.
It is built on community trust.
It is built on the belief that practical education can change lives.

To see a beauty school CEO recognized among Louisville’s admired leaders, a Kentucky-based academy recognized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and a small-business founder recognized nationally for advocacy — all connected to one mission — is something Louisville, Kentucky, and the American small-business community can celebrate.

Louisville proud.
Kentucky proud.
American small business proud. 🇺🇸

Congratulations to Louisville Beauty Academy, its students, graduates, instructors, partners, and founder Di Tran for bringing this level of recognition home to Kentucky.

YES I CAN.
YES WE DID.
YES YOU WILL.
