Louisville Section NCNW Inc is hosting a youth paint and sip with members of the African Jewels on Saturday September 26th at the California Community Center. The program encourages middle and high school girls to express themselves through writing, reading, open conversations, and artistic freedom.

Saturday August 29. 2026- Louisville Section NCNW Inc African Jewels Program held a Back to School Brunch at Our Place Cafe. This was a time of sisterhood and community. There were teaching moments led by Janet Golden-Lewis, African Jewels Chairwoman. A workshop in social etiquette was presented as freshly made ice cream was sampled by the students. What a way to kick off the School year! Current section president, Cheryl Rhodes and President elect, Lillie M. Perry-Pettus took time out of their busy schedules to share time with the students and volunteers. The cafe was a hit with the volunteer team and the students!

Thursday August 27, 2026- The Louisville Section NCNW Inc held the installation of new officers, serving 2026-2028. Congratulations to the incoming officers, as the gavel has been passed from outgoing President Cheryl Rhodes to incoming President Lillie Mae Perry-Pettus. Judge Denise Brown presided over the swearing in of officers.
