✨️ Turtle rescue ✨️

We we're so happy to help this little guy out this week! We got a call of an injured juvenile snapper.

The Crack in its shell may seem small but underneath you never know whats going on. After a quick trip to the vet and a few x-rays and test little dude was set to be re-released!

Another happy ending and successful rescue in the books!

🤔💜 HOW CAN YOU HELP? 🤔💜

please consider checking out our donation page to help support the next injured tort on our doorsteps!

These funds go directly to vet bills, medication, food and even enclosure builds! Every dollar counts because EVERY turtle life matters!

If you or someone you know is thinking about surrounding a turtle or tortoise anytime soon please take a look at this girl! 😍👀🤔

This is big Winston a very happy, spoiled and loved flordia softshell turtle.

She spends her mornings sunning and stretching waiting for her food slave to come give her breakfast. After a delicious and nutritious breakfast of homemade turtle cubes, with her bestie blanch, they then take a long afternoon nap together.

To a lot of people this may just be a big turtle catching some rays.

But to me? I see a turtle who took years to even climb out of the water to feel the warmth of the sun. I see a turtle who is relaxed and feels save enough in her environment to actually come out of her shell and show us how beautiful she really is. I see a very happy girl and I'm pretty confident I see a little turtle smile!

The happiness and Healthcare of our turtles is 100% our main focus so it was an absolute pleasure to be able to catch these poses this morning. 🥰🐢💜

This pretty baby spent a few weeks here with us at Turtle Utopia Inc. This box turtle was given to us by someone who removed it from the wild.

We LOVE box turtles and as a native species here in Kentucky we want to do EVERYTHING we can to keep as many healthy and happy box turtles IN THE WILD where they rightfully belong!

If you see a turtle in the road please take the time to move it out of the road in the direction it was going, but please leave it alone!

Far too many of these turtles end up in glass tanks when they could live twice as long in the wild!

Enjoy freckles eating some breakfast as she has been successfully released today!
