🚨 PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE — DO NOT DUMP ANIMALS. 🚨
We know sometimes people find an animal and genuinely don't know where to turn. But leaving animals at a shelter, thrift store, business, or any other location without arranging for their care first can put them in serious danger.
These three babies were recently left at our thrift store. 💔 They are young, vulnerable, and completely dependent on people for their safety and care. Please do not leave animals outside our thrift store or shelter after hours. They can be exposed to extreme temperatures, other animals, traffic, illness, and other dangers — and there may not be anyone there to find them in time.
And while we absolutely want to help as many animals as we can, there is such a thing as quality over quantity. As a nonprofit, we can only take on the animals our staff, foster network, resources, and available space can physically and appropriately care for. We would much rather have the opportunity to talk with you and figure out the safest option than find an animal abandoned and at risk.
🐾 If you find an animal and don't know what to do, please reach out before leaving them somewhere.
