Congratulations to our Honorable Marine Lance Corporal LeAnn Shaughnessy for accepting the Jacob Charles Kerr German Shepherd award from Shepherds of Mount Eden.

Thank you Lance Corporal LeAnn Shaughnessy for your outstanding service on behalf of the American people.

Our Honorable Lcpl LeAnn Shaughnessy was trained at soi, Goodfellow AFB FIRE Academy, 29 PALMS, CHERRY POINT. She drove a P19 Firetruck.
She went to Bootcanp at Parris Island.
Her units were training squadrons and her last one was VMGRT -253, Hercules refueling planes.
She has National Defense and other Ribbons.
Our new partners wrote, "As a United States Marine and disabled veteran, Leann has exemplified selflessness, resilience, and dedicated service throughout her life. For the past nine years, she has been an invaluable pillar of the Louisville Marine Toys for Tots program, volunteering well over 100 hours each year to champion our mission that “Every Child Deserves a Great Christmas.”
Having worked alongside Leann personally at numerous community initiatives, I have witnessed her exceptional work ethic and compassion firsthand:
Disaster Relief & Rapid Deployment: When catastrophic flooding struck Eastern Kentucky, Leann stepped up immediately. She was instrumental in establishing a critical supply collection site and traveled on the ground with our response team to deliver and unload two 16-foot box trucks of relief supplies within 10 days of the disaster.
Leann continually puts others before herself, even while navigating the challenges that come with being a disabled veteran. A K-9 service dog would make a life-changing impact on her independence, well-being, and daily life—an honor she has earned ten times over through her service to our country and her unwavering support of our community.
Furthermore, the Louisville Marine Toys for Tots program would be thrilled to establish an ongoing partnership with your organization to cross-promote your vital mission of supporting our nation's military and first responder communities.
Thank you for your consideration of this remarkable Marine. If you need any additional details, please do not hesitate to contact me directly." Marine Captain Cletis Evans, Coordinator, Marine Toys for Tots – Louisville. “NEVER STOP SERVING” 🇺🇲

Special thank you to our Autumn Hall with Von Hall German Shepherds for contributing this wonderful German Shepherd to make this award possible.

From that time Jesus began to tell people his message: “Change your hearts and lives, because God’s kingdom is now very near.” Matthew 4:17
Stop doing wrong things. Turn to God again. Then the wrong things you have done will be wiped away altogether. The Lord will give you a new start and make you very glad. Acts 3:19
And to put on the new self, created in God’s likeness, in the righteousness and holiness that come from the truth. Ephesians 4:24
So the followers went out and preached that people should change their hearts and lives. Mark 6:12
I told everyone, Jewish and non-Jewish people, to change and turn to God. I told them all to believe in our Lord Jesus. Acts 20:21
The Lord is not slow in doing what he promised—the way some people understand slowness. But God is being patient with you. He does not want anyone to be lost, but he wants all people to change their hearts and lives. 2 Peter 3:9
Be that new person who was made to be like God, truly good and pleasing to him. Ephesians 4:24
Finally, build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of his mighty power. Ephesians 6:10
