Join teens from across Kentucky at the 2026 Kentucky 4-H Issues Conference!

👥 Grades 9–12

This is a chance to:
✨ Build leadership & communication skills
✨ Share your ideas and your voice
✨ Explore real-world issues
✨ Work with other young leaders
✨ Build confidence, teamwork & problem-solving skills

You don’t have to be the loudest person in the room to be a leader. Your ability to listen, think creatively, bring people together, and step up when needed are all leadership skills—and this conference is a place to put them to work!

💰 Worried about the cost?

Registration is $250, but Jefferson County 4-H has resources that may help with a partial scholarship.

🚐 Transportation is covered by 4-H!
🏫 The conference is an excused absence from school.

Enjoy the great outdoors!! This is a free event for the family! If you decide to go share your pictures!! 🍀

This free event is designed for individuals and families who are new to canoeing to experience the water in safe and stable big canoes which hold 6 people!. All safety equipment and trained staff are provided. Wear comfortable outdoor clothing that can get wet; no flip flops please.

Participants must weigh a minimum of 50lbs. Life jacket fit is determined by staff. Personal life jackets are not permitted.

Participants under the age of 18 MUST have a waiver signed by a parent/legal guardian.

No advanced sign-ups required.
