What took place at the She Leads Kentucky Inaugural Honoring Gala was truly something special. Gifted with the most beautiful, day at the majestic castle, whose beauty was exceeded only by that of the virtuous women of faith, whose presence had been requested to give them the honor they were due, honorees and guests from across our Commonwealth and seven states gathered not simply for an event, but for recognition, encouragement, meaningful connection, and the launch of a bold movement.
There was a depth in the room that is difficult to fully capture - overflowing joy, sincere reverence, and a genuine spirit of unity that could be felt throughout the day. It was a true honor to recognize and celebrate each of the women who were honored, each one carrying a story, a calling, and an impact that extends far beyond what was seen on the stage. To every honoree, what you carry deeply matters. It was a privilege to stand with you and honor your lives and leadership.
I am deeply grateful for every speaker, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this gathering possible. And to Liz Doyle—thank you for your vision and faithful leadership that made this moment possible.
This was more than an event. It was the beginning of something meaningful for our Commonwealth. And this is only the beginning.
