Happy National Dog Day to all who celebrate! We wanted to take a moment to acknowledge all the Louisville Habitat dogs that offer their support and unconditional love to our team members!

And we would be remiss to not mention Pat's Footlongs at the Kentucky State Fair! The Resource Development team went to visit Sunny, Director of Community Engagement, at her family’s hot dog business that is celebrating their 60th anniversary! I had a veggie corndog and it was delish!

We recently celebrated Jerome and Anesie's Raise the Roof alongside the Interfaith sponsors consisting of Ascension Lutheran Louisville, Beargrass Christian Church, Adath Jeshurun, Hope City Church, Jewish Federation of Louisville, St. Matthews United Methodist Church, Louisville, KY, St. Paul United Methodist Church, and Watkins United Methodist Church.

Habitat Homebuyer Application Week has begun! Louisville Habitat is accepting applications to become a Habitat Homebuyer August 24th-29th at The Jane & Jewell Center daily from 12pm-6pm.

The HFHML Homebuyer Program is a homeownership program where selected Homebuyers purchase their homes with an affordable mortgage. The application is like the process used by banks and requires a great deal of personal financial information.

*Tip: If you did not attend an information session, stop by early in the week to give yourself time to complete the application.

Louisville Habitat monthly mortgages are calculated to be no more than 28% of our homebuyer’s gross monthly income. This provides our new homeowners with a payment that is at or less than recommended housing cost levels, which ensures they are set up for long-term affordability.
