NO KINGS 3/28: https://www.nokings.org

The 50501 Movement is a national movement in which people across all 50 States show up to their respective capitals to peacefully voice their opposition to the Presidency of Donald Trump. It is a decentralized group without a strict hierarchical structure. Our affiliation with the national movement is informal. This is entirely a grassroots effort by individuals in Kentucky. As it stands, the sepa

ration of powers outlined in the US Constitution are being eroded with each passing day by a compromised Judiciary, an ineffectual Legislature, and a ravenous Executive. Our aim is to form a coalition of like minded individuals from all walks of life who are united by our opposition to Project 2025 and America First, the dismantling of the Federal Government by Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency, and the fascist dictatorial ambitions of President Donald Trump. Due to this mission, we expect discussion to foster unity. It doesn’t matter if you are a Liberal, Social Democrat, Marxist, Feminist, Anti Imperialist, or a lifelong Civil Rights activist. You may be one of these things or you may be all of these things. We all stand united by our belief in egalitarianism, inclusivity, and the belief that democracy under siege should be protected at all costs. Enemies of democracy seek to divide us, we should not allow that to happen. In other words, leftist infighting should be checked at the door.

First set of photos from the second half of the No Kings Day 3 rally at Metro Hall in downtown Louisville, Kentucky on March 28, 2026.

After the march returned to Metro Hall, the second half of speakers began. First up was Gary from Party for Socialism and Liberation - Louisville who spoke about the billions of dollars being spent by the US Government on its war with Iran. Money that should instead be invested in improving the lives of those living in the United States of America.

Next up was Maxwell Mitchell representing Kentucky Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression. He spoke about the Consent Decree and Community Decree, and promoted the organization's upcoming meeting on April 12, 2026.

Aprile Hearn Candidate for Louisville Metro Council District 5 spoke next about why people should vote for Louisville DSA candidates running for office this year. Not only her own Metro Council District 5 campaign, but also the campaigns of Robert LeVertis Bell candidate for District 43 in the Kentucky State House, Metro Council District 9 candidate Andrea Parr, and finally Shameka Parrish-Wright, Candidate for Louisville Mayor 2026.

The rest of the speakers will be covered in the next set of photos.

LOUISVILLE🚨 Join us THIS Saturday, April 4th to demand justice for Katelyn Hall.

From Kentucky Alliance, Vocal-KY, and community leaders/partners:
We are reaching out with urgency to invite your organization to stand in solidarity with us following a recent incident involving LMPD’s use of deadly force during a mental health crisis. Katelyn Hall was murdered.

We are organizing a press conference and community response:

Saturday at 1:00 PM
Injustice Square

This moment calls for collective action. We are bringing together community members, individuals with lived experience, mental health professionals, and organizational partners to speak out against the continued harm caused by police responses to mental health crises.

We are calling for:
- Accountability and transparency in this incident
- The release of all body camera footage
- Investment in non-police mental health crisis response
- An end to the use of deadly force in situations requiring care, not criminalization
