There’s no place like home🏆

Taryn Walker claims the 98th Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Women’s Amateur title at Hunting Creek Country Club, 21 years after her first! Walker won it on her home course, surrounded by her friends, family, and the community she loves.

From the opening round to the final putt, the level of golf played throughout this championship was a true testament to the talent in Kentucky women’s golf.

The Campbellsville, Kentucky native punched his ticket to the 126th U.S. Open Championship through final qualifying at The Lakes Golf and Country Club in Westerville, Ohio.

Holmes, a five-time PGA TOUR winner, will be teeing off at the U.S. Open Championship June 18-21 in Southampton, New York.

We are so excited for another great day of competition here at Hunting Creek Country Club. Today features the continuation of Championship Division match play and our Senior Division semi-finals are on deck as Natalie Britton takes on April Sproul and Toni Davenport faces Melba Kindervater.

Congratulations to Taryn Walker on earning medalist honors with a round of 70 on Day 1. The Champions Bracket for match play is set for the remaining two days of competition!

In the Senior Division, tomorrow’s semi-finals are locked in as Natalie Britton takes on April Sproul and Toni Davenport faces Melba Kindervater.

We are just 5 days away from the 98th Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Women’s Amateur at Hunting Creek Country Club! Today’s countdown spotlight shines on one of Kentucky golf’s all-time greats: Joan Rizer(not pictured)

Joan is a five-time Kentucky Women’s Amateur. In addition to serving as the men’s and women’s golf coach at St. Catherine College in Springfield, she has also served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Women’s Kentucky State Golf Association and was inducted into the Kentucky Golf Hall of Fame in 2005. Joan’s influence extends far beyond the trophies she collected.

With just 5 days to go until this year’s championship, we celebrate the women who paved the way and inspired generations of Kentucky golfers.

Kentucky is in the field at Riviera! Congratulations to Athena Singh and Laney Frye on earning their spots in the 2026 United States Women’s Open at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California!

Singh, one of our current Junior Tour competitors, tees off at 11:57 a.m. Eastern Time off Hole 10. Frye, a former Junior Tour player, follows at 5:42 p.m. Eastern Time from Hole 1.

Round 1 coverage begins Thursday at 2 p.m. Eastern Time on USA Network and streams live on Peacock!
