👑🩷 2026 STREET PAINTING SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT 🩷👑

In Loving Memory of Brittnay Dawson

Some people leave footprints on the pavement.
Some people leave footprints on our hearts. 💗

This year, we are honored to dedicate a Via Colori street painting in loving memory of Brittnay Dawson.

Brittnay loved coming to Via Colori as a princess. 👑✨ She brought her joy, her wonder, and her beautiful spirit with her — and in doing so, brought happiness to the people lucky enough to share those moments with her.

Brittnay was taken from us far too soon. Her absence is deeply felt by everyone who knew and loved her, but the joy she brought into the world did not leave with her. It lives on in the memories she created, the people she touched, and the little pieces of happiness she left behind. 🩷

This street painting is more than chalk on pavement. It is a celebration of Brittnay’s life, her joy, and the magic she found in being a princess at Via Colori. 🎨👑

For one weekend, our sidewalks will become a canvas. And on that canvas, we hope Brittnay’s memory will shine — colorful, joyful, and impossible to overlook.

Because love leaves a mark. And so did Brittnay. 🩷

We invite you to pause when you see her memorial painting. Take a moment. Remember her. Celebrate her. And if you knew Brittnay, perhaps share a memory of the beautiful princess who brought so much joy to those around her. ✨

You can also follow the continuing adventures of Brittnay’s plushie on Instagram at . 🧸💕

👑 Forever our Via Colori princess. Forever remembered. Forever loved. 👑

When Grace isn’t creating, you can find her enjoying some of her other favorite things — animals, being outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family. 🐾🌳💕

We love seeing young artists bring their imagination to Via Colori and turn a blank piece of pavement into something completely their own. ✨

🎨🔥 2026 STREET PAINTING ARTIST SPOTLIGHT! 🔥🎨

🌈 Meet Clay Mata! 🌈

Some artists create art. Clay Mata creates a force of nature. 💥🎨

An artistic autodidact — completely self-taught — Clay draws inspiration from her Hispanic heritage, channeling her passion for vibrant beauty into art for the people. ❤️

Her work is filled with color, movement, and energy — so much energy, in fact, that sometimes it simply refuses to stay contained on a single canvas! 🌈✨

And now that energy is hitting the pavement at Via Colori 2026! 🖍️🎨

Clay brings a personality as vibrant as her artwork, and we can’t wait to watch her transform a blank stretch of pavement into something bursting with life, movement, and color.

✨ Self-taught.
🌈 Color-obsessed.
💃 Full of movement.
🔥 A true force of nature.

Come find Clay’s street painting, watch it take shape, and experience the personality and passion she pours into every piece.

The pavement better be ready. Clay is coming! 😍🎨🔥

🌟 Meet Nina Bruno! 🌟

We’re excited to introduce Nina Bruno, one of our talented Street Painting Artists at Via Colori 2026! 🎨🖍️

Nina loves bringing people and things to life with an anime-inspired style, and when she’s not drawing, you might find her looking up at the stars and dreaming up some out-of-this-world space art. 🌙✨🚀

She’s also a proud dog person 🐶❤️ and a member of the Visual Arts Society at her school, where she gets to continue exploring and sharing her love of creativity.

We’re so excited to see what Nina brings to the Via Colori pavement! Will it be anime? Will it be space? Will it be something completely unexpected? 👀✨

There’s only one way to find out…

🎨 Come watch Nina turn a blank piece of pavement into her own little universe! 🌌

And be sure to stop by, say hello, and cheer her on as she creates!

🌈 Metropolitan Community Church of Louisville 🌈

Our streets are about to get a whole lot more colorful — and we’re thrilled to have Metropolitan Community Church of Louisville joining us as a Street Painting Artist for Via Colori 2026! 🎨🌈

MCC Louisville was founded more than 50 years ago on the core values of inclusion, community, spiritual transformation, and justice. From day one, their message has been one of love, welcoming people from diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and spiritual histories and traditions. ❤️

At MCC Louisville, there are no theological barriers keeping people from worshiping in a way that is meaningful to them. It’s a place built around the belief that you are loved by God and by a diverse community of people. 💕✨

And we think that spirit of inclusion and community fits beautifully with what Via Colori is all about!

This festival brings people from all walks of life together through creativity, connection, and a shared love of art. 🖍️🎨 So we can’t wait to see what MCC Louisville puts down on the pavement!

🌈 Come see their artwork take shape.
