Gary has been supported at Cedar Lake since 2006 and is currently part of the Cedar Lake Sycamore Run community. He is an observant individual who enjoys taking in the world around him and quietly people-watching.

Gary has a deep appreciation for music, especially bluegrass, which he enjoys listening to in his own time. Gary is admired for his independence and determination. Even when his body doesn’t always allow it, he strives to do things for himself first, showing a quiet strength and perseverance that inspires those around him.

What makes Gary truly memorable is his ability to surprise and delight when he chooses to let loose – he can raise the roof when the moment calls for it. While he is calm and thoughtful most of the time, Gary’s strength, self-reliance, and unique personality make him a valued member of the Cedar Lake community.

It's a Cedar Lake safari with Jamaka's Jungle. Individuals supported at Cedar Lake Sycamore Run and Park Place intermediate care facility specialize care homes were able to learn about exotic animals and have hands-on encounters with a snake, hedgehog, lizard, and parrot! Pretty cool, right?!
