I was truly upset because they are my community partner and sponsor. I eat there every week I'm glad this was handled accordingly.
Texas Roadhouse has officially launched an internal investigation into viral social media claims alleging that its workers participated in a racist group chat to tamper with Black customers' food, calling the accusations "completely unfounded." The steakhouse chain issued multiple statements clarifying that it has a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, harassment, or mistreatment of any kind. The Root of the AllegationsThe online controversy erupted over the weekend when videos circulated on platforms like TikTok and X (formerly Twitter). The Claim: Social media users amplified a screenshot of an alleged post from a private Facebook group (alternatively cited as "White Servers Only" or "White and Proud"). The post claimed that over 400,000 white servers and cooks across the industry—specifically naming Texas Roadhouse and Logan's Roadhouse—were intentionally contaminating food, such as spitting on or licking dinner rolls served to Black patrons. The Reality: No credible evidence, screenshots of named employees, or confirmed incidents have surfaced to support the claims. A prominent X user who initially amplified the post later deleted it, called the allegation a hoax, and issued an apology.Corporate ResponseTexas Roadhouse quickly moved to manage the severe backlash and calls for a consumer boycott. The company reiterated that it takes any threat to its brand and food safety seriously. It is actively investigating the digital origin of the rumor while emphasizing that its "Roadies" are expected to serve every guest with dignity, care, and equal respect. Logan's Roadhouse has not issued a public response regarding the viral rumor. If you are following this corporate crisis, let me know if you would like me to look up updates on the internal investigation, public consumer reactions, or how the chain's stock performance is being affected.

🌿 LOCUST GROVE: A PLACE WHERE HISTORY SPEAKS

Vision of Life Outreach invites youth, families, churches, women’s groups, community organizations, and educational groups to experience history, nature, and learning at Historic Locust Grove.

Built in the 1790s, Locust Grove is a National Historic Landmark and one of Louisville’s most important historic places. It was the home of William and Lucy Clark Croghan and the final home of General George Rogers Clark, a Revolutionary War figure and founder of Louisville.

Locust Grove’s story also includes the enslaved African American men, women, and children whose labor helped build the house, cultivate the farm, prepare food, care for families, and maintain the property. Archaeological research continues to uncover evidence of their lives, traditions, resilience, and experiences.

This is why we believe in learning from history.
