đź’™ Men's Mental Health Awareness Month đź’™
Too often, men are told to "tough it out" or keep their struggles to themselves. The truth is that mental health is just as important as physical health, and seeking support is a sign of strength—not weakness.
According to the American Psychiatric Association (APA), warning signs that someone may be struggling include:
• Persistent sadness or hopelessness
• Increased anger, irritability, or stress
• Changes in sleep or appetite
• Withdrawal from friends, family, or activities
• Increased use of alcohol or drugs
• Difficulty concentrating or coping with daily responsibilities
Men are less likely to seek mental health treatment, yet they are at a significantly higher risk of dying by su***de. Checking in on yourself and the men in your life can make a difference.
If you or someone you know is struggling:
âś… Talk to a trusted friend, family member, or healthcare provider.
âś… Reach out to a mental health professional.
âś… Call or text 988 for the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline if immediate support is needed.

This month, let's break the stigma, encourage conversations, and remind men that they don't have to carry their burdens alone.
