Something new is soaring through the trees at Camp Pennyroyal! 🌲

We're excited to unveil our NEW & IMPROVED High Ropes Course, giving Girl Scouts even more opportunities to challenge themselves, build confidence, and reach new heights. This exciting upgrade was made possible through the generous donation from the Patrick J. Calhoun, Jr. Charitable Trust.

🌩️☂️ Thanks to the initiative, all our camp properties now have emergency weather radios to help keep campers and staff informed, prepared, and safe during severe weather. We're grateful for this investment in camp safety so girls can focus on making memories all summer long!

💜Let's celebrate Troop 128 for earning their Silver Award!💜

Troop 128 from Murray partnered with Spring Creek Healthcare to install a permanent memory doll/companion pet therapy nursery in the facility. They purchased 40 baby dolls and realistic stuffed dogs and cats. They also received a used changing table which they painted and refinished. The group also collected 14 handmade crocheted doll blankets, made by their troop leader Rose Ann Ross. They also hand painted cheerful artwork that they hung in the nursery as well as creating a permanent sign explaining the concept of doll therapy in the nursery. The troop partnered with the activities coordinator to host a "baby shower/adoption day" party to introduce the residents to the dolls and companion pets that were available to them.
