Kentuckiana Paddlers Association The Kentuckiana Paddlers Association was started to provide information, instruction and to promote safety and conservation.

The Kentuckiana Paddlers Association was started to provide information, instruction and to promote safety and conservation for those of us passionate about paddling in Kentucky and southern Indiana. We have members who are interested in paddlesports activities of all types, from making paddling available to the youth in our community, to helping provide access to boating for individuals with spec

ial needs. From participating in river clean-ups, and assisting with water safety for the triathlon and open water swimming competitions in our area, to taking nature and history paddles. As members of the KPA, we look to the future of paddling our community with great expectation, because the are so many new paddling opportunities in our area, like the new Parklands of Floyd's Fork Recreational Area, which will provide 19 miles of water trails. Come join us and learn about the opportunities to meet new friends, discover new adventures and enjoy the water. Our purpose is simple:

To promote and encourage paddlesports,

To promote the development of water safety & paddling skills through instruction, training and participation in paddlesports events,

To promote conservation of wild and scenic waterways,

But also to have fun! KPA is proud to be part of the American Canoe Association as a Paddle America Club.
