The Hatler Haunt began in 2012 as a small charitable home haunt created purely out of passion. What started as a backyard dream quickly grew into something special — a gathering place, a creative outlet, and a way to give back.
Over the years, the original Hatler Haunt crew moved on to build professional haunted attractions, earning awards, recognition, and a reputation for creativity and heart. Yet even as we grew, one thing never faded: people still remembered the Hatler Haunt. The stories, the photos, the videos — they became part of our family’s history.
Now our kids have grown up hearing those stories. They’ve watched us act and build in our professional haunt, and every year they ask the same question:
“Can we build a haunted house at home again?”
And now… it’s time.
It’s time to let the next generation experience what we had.
It’s time to officially pass the torch.
Children only get one childhood, and we want ours to feel the same magic that started all of this.
As always, the Hatler Haunt will stay true to its roots in kindness and community. Admission will be donations of Thanksgiving dinner items, which will be delivered to families who may be struggling this season.
A haunt built with heart.
A tradition carried forward.
A legacy shared.
The Hatler Haunt returns — rebuilt by the next generation, fueled by charity, family, and fun.
