Statement from KY Leather -- 05 June 2026
Leather is for everyone. When one of us suffers, we all are affected.
The Kentucky Leather production team has been made aware of separate allegations of misconduct by two organizational volunteers. The volunteers named in these allegations have stepped away from their organizational roles.
While each of the allegations is different, none of the alleged actions has any place in our organization or community. The safety and integrity of this community will always come first.
Accountability is not optional here. If you have information relevant to these matters, please reach out to us at [email protected]. All communications will be kept confidential.
To those who have come forward — we hear you, we take your experiences seriously, and we are sorry this happened within a space meant to be safe. Kentucky Leather is committed to promoting events based on consent and inclusion.
This community deserves better — and we are committed to doing better. We welcome suggestions on ways to improve. Kentucky Leather will complete a review of the allegations and provide a more detailed update within the next two weeks.
