Real Conversations for Real Men

Private decisions can shape a public future.

This week, we are talking honestly about temptation, relationships, loneliness, emotional attachments, and the choices men make when nobody else is watching.

Sometimes it is not really love.
Sometimes it is lust.
Sometimes it is loneliness.
Sometimes it is attention.
Sometimes it is a late-night decision that can create long-term consequences.

Week 6 Session
Lust, Love, and Late Night Decisions
Winning the war nobody wants to talk about.

We’ll discuss:

• Is it love, lust, loneliness, or just attention?
• How do private decisions build a public future?
• What happens when temptation starts leading your life?
• How do you break habits that thrive in the dark?
• How can men make wiser choices with relationships, desire, and accountability?

🎉 Exciting News for The Lydia House Community Outreach! 🎉

Sometimes, all it takes is one conversation to open the door to something bigger.

We are honored to share that The Lydia House Community Outreach has been awarded a $2,500 community grant following our presentation to the District 6 Advisory Council!

This moment didn't happen overnight.

Earlier this month, Councilman J.P. Lyninger joined us at our Neighborhood Block Party, where he saw our volunteers in action, met the families we serve, and experienced the heart of our mission firsthand. That visit led to an invitation to share our story with the District 6 Advisory Council.

During the meeting, we talked about our commitment to serving Louisville through community events, neighborhood partnerships, and outreach that brings people together with dignity, compassion, and hope.

The Council voted unanimously to support our work.

We are incredibly grateful to:
❤️ Councilman J.P. Lyninger
❤️ Nick Conder, Legislative Assistant
❤️ The members of the District 6 Advisory Council
❤️ Rev. George Mayes for helping make this opportunity possible
❤️ Every volunteer, donor, and community partner who believes in our mission

This grant is more than funding. It is a reminder that when a community comes together, real change happens.

Our work is far from over.

Every event, every partnership, every volunteer, and every donation helps us reach more people throughout Louisville. If you've been looking for a way to make a difference in your community, we invite you to join us. Together, we can continue being a Beacon of Hope for the Lost and the Left Behind.

🤝 Volunteer with us.
💙 Partner with us.
🎁 Donate to help us expand our impact.
📣 Share our story so others can become part of it.
