The 2026 Louisville Book Festival author list is HERE. 📚✨

One of the best things about a book festival is discovering writers you may not know yet. Of course, we love bringing in nationally recognized authors. But we are just as proud to create space for emerging voices, independent writers, and dozens of local and regional authors who also deserve the chance to meet readers, build community, and amplify their work.

Louisville is full of writers. Kentuckiana is full of writers. And sometimes the next author you fall in love with is not the one you already follow—it is the one you discover because you were introduced to them in the most magical way.

That is part of what the Louisville Book Festival is here to do.

Come for the names you recognize.

Come discover the names you’ll be talking about next.

Come meet the writer whose book becomes your new favorite.

Come support the author sitting ten miles away from you who has been working for years to get their story into the world.

This is what a literary community looks like.

🗣️📚 The Louisville Free Public Library invites adults to join a free English Conversation Club and practice their English in a friendly, welcoming environment.

📍 Iroquois Library Meeting Room, 601 W. Woodlawn Avenue

Participants will have the opportunity to build confidence, strengthen their conversation skills, and connect with others in the community. Whether you're learning English or simply looking for more opportunities to practice, everyone is welcome.
