The first day of Neurodiversity Celebration Week was a success! 🥳 We kicked off the week strong this morning at the BAB- special thanks to our campus partners who joined us. This afternoon, we explored embracing disability identity and what it means to support yourself or others around you with disabilities. Thank you to Lauren from the University Counseling Center for leading the workshop!

Wanting to get involved? Tomorrow we have a panel, Celebrating Neurodivergent Voices, and we'd love to see you there! All are welcome and lunch will be provided 👀🍴

Balancing classes and a social life while navigating your disability can be tough 😕. As a part of Neurodiversity Celebration Week, the Embracing Disability Identity workshop will explore:
-Disability Identity- what it means and why it matters
-Self-advocacy
-Masking- why we do it and how it impacts us
-Ways to find community and support each other

All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
