An absolutely beautiful fall evening filled with delicious food, soulful Bluegrass music, and time spent visiting with old friends and making new ones!

The Kentucky Bluegrass & BBQ was another successful A La Carte event! Guests enjoyed delectable Texas-smoked brisket, savory Carolina pulled pork, and the sweetest desserts. We sipped fine w**es provided by a local w**e collector, signature Manhattans, and the house-specialty margaritas.

What a fun evening we had while raising money to support the Association of the Louisville Orchestra! We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this evening such a success.

The ALO was thrilled to welcome back Jean Becker, an accomplished author and wonderful friend of A La Carte! 📚✨

In Jean’s latest book, Don’t Tell the President, she shares some of the most harrowing—and hilarious—stories from more than 60 years of presidential events. From the Rose Garden to Air Force One, from foreign trips to the campaign trail, Jean gives us a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the extraordinary preparation that goes into these delicate, high-stakes operations—and how, despite the best-laid plans, things can sometimes come just one step away from disaster!

It was such a fun and fascinating way to spend a Saturday afternoon with Jean and our ALO friends. We are so grateful to Jean for sharing her incredible stories and experiences with us! ❤️📖

What a memorable afternoon!

A delightful evening with the Louisville Orchestra team learning about the “Behind the Scenes” of the Orchestra and everything that happens before the musicians ever take the stage! 🎶

It was fascinating to learn about the incredible amount of preparation, coordination, and dedication that goes into both the music and the musicians before each performance.

What a talented and dedicated team we have at our Louisville Orchestra! We are so fortunate to be able to experience and support the people who make the magic happen.
