TEE UP FOR A GREAT CAUSE! ⛳

The Ancient Order of Hibernians Louisville, KY Irish for Kids Golf Scramble is coming up on September 18, 2026, at 1:30 PM, and we’re looking for businesses and supporters to help make this event a success!

For just $250, you can sponsor a hole and show your support for Boys & Girls Haven while getting your business or organization in front of golfers and supporters throughout the event.

Each hole sponsor will be recognized on one of the tee boxes. Sponsors can choose to have their company or organization name featured, or they can sponsor a hole in memory or honor of a loved one.

Last month, several youth from Boys & Girls Haven’s Transitional Living Program attended the 2026 Youth Empowerment Conference hosted by Kentucky RISE in Lexington. The two-day event brought together youth in care and caregivers from across the state for learning, connection, and personal growth.

Conference highlights included inspiring keynote presentations from Miss Kentucky and author/content creator Chaya Milchtein, a screening of Their Truth: An Aging Out Story, and a variety of interactive workshops focused on life skills, self-advocacy, and future planning. Youth also had the opportunity to network with peers and connect with organizations dedicated to supporting young people as they transition into adulthood.

The experience was especially meaningful for Boys & Girls Haven youth Dontae, who was honored with the Youth Empowerment Conference Attendee Award in recognition of his active participation and engagement throughout the conference.

“I really enjoyed the youth conference and appreciated the chance to reconnect with old friends while also meeting new people. I learned a lot and gained valuable information about available resources, and I’m already looking forward to attending again next year. I was truly surprised, happy, and excited to receive the award."
