Our garden is officially up and running for the season at SMC! 🌱

Our participants were so excited to get their hands dirty and start the growing process. From planting to watering, everyone has been eager to help bring the garden back to life. We can’t wait to watch everything grow and eventually use the fresh, delicious food in our meals!

A huge thank you goes out to our friend Rob Lindeman for all of his hard work, effort, and support in refurbishing the garden and getting it ready for this season. We truly appreciate everything you’ve done to help make this possible!

Here’s to a great growing season ahead! 🌼

We had an absolute blast at SMC’s Field Day today!

From rocking our matching tie-dye shirts to firing up the grill, the day was full of laughs, friendly competition, and great memories. We played games, cheered each other on, and wrapped it all up with a fun award ceremony to celebrate everyone’s efforts!

The chilly weather may have kept us indoors, but it didn’t slow us down one bit—if anything, it made the day even more special. What an awesome way to kick off the month of May!

We’re so thankful for our amazing participants and staff who made today unforgettable!

We’ve been some mean, green, celebrating machines over at SMC this week!

St. Patrick’s Day was full of laughs and smiles while we enjoyed a performance from the talented McClanahan School of Irish Dance and a little extra luck from the Irish! 🍀

Today, we kept the theme of green and visited Persimmon Ridge Golf Club and partnered with Quail Chase Golf Club in the first ever Kentucky PGA ABLE clinic! We are so proud of everyone’s effort and enthusiasm! ⛳️

Thank you to everyone who makes moments like these possible. We love creating fun and meaningful opportunities for our SMC family!

Today was an exciting day! We took our first bags of donations to the food pantry and filled it up. We are still seeking donations. If you have any canned goods or personal hygiene items you’d like to contribute, please bring them in and drop them off.

Well let’s try Thursday. Sorry folks but we are going to have to keep the center closed for yet another day. Forecast is calling for extreme low temperatures and freezing fog in the morning! Brrrrr While we had every intention of seeing everyone tomorrow, we feel it is best to keep everyone indoors and off the roads until things start to get a bit warmer. Thanks for hanging in there with us!

One more day, everyone! Due to the extreme temperatures forecast, we've decided to close tomorrow (Tuesday). Please stay home, stay safe, and stay warm. Don't forget about our four-legged friends too.
