About Louisville Hindi Paathshaala, Inc.:
-We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit volunteer-based organization, that operates with the mission of creating awareness of the Indian culture by teaching the Hindi language in Louisville, KY. ls System), Our students are taught across 6 different levels by more than 20 volunteer teachers. There are no paid workers or officers of the school, and the small school fees collected is used for payment of rent, insurance, books, supplies and community events.
- Our main aim is to promote Hindi at the grass-root level by teaching students of all ages, religious and ethnic background.
- We are affiliated with HindiUSA, which imparts Hindi learning to more than 4,000 students in the United States through more than 20 affiliated schools. Syllabus information for each level can be obtained from http://www.hindiusa.org
What makes us different:
- Our specific goal is to teach Hindi speaking, writing, reading, and understanding for complete Hindi learning.
- We follow the curriculum of our parent organization, HindiUSA, who have their own printing and publication center, and whose books are specially written for students born and brought up in America.
- We teach Hindi language through modern methods, games, competitions, stories, and various teaching materials in a professional public school environment.
- We administer regular tests. Written and Oral exams constitute our strong teaching structure.
- We aspire to introduce Hindi in Kentucky schools as a credit-level course, similar to Spanish, French and Latin.
