As the 2026 KOTA Annual Conference approaches, it’s time to recognize the occupational therapy practitioners who make a lasting impact on our profession.

Do you know an OT or OTA who demonstrates outstanding clinical excellence, exceptional service to the profession, and unwavering support of the Kentucky Occupational Therapy Association (KOTA)? Now is the time to honor their contributions by submitting a nomination for a KOTA award!

Gov. Andy Beshear announced Wednesday he will use $255 million in state surplus funds to close a Medicaid funding gap and reverse a 4% cut that was set to take effect Aug. 1, affecting an estimated 1 million Kentuckians on Medicaid.
