Dreams With Wings Our mission is to ensure children and adults with intellectual and developmental challenges live their best life.

We offer education, therapy, residential living, community support, respite and more. Dreams With Wings was started in 2000 by a group of individuals who wanted to improve the quality of services, programs, and community inclusion for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities including autism. Initially started to provide residential housing in the Louisville area, today

we have grown to support over 360 individuals in 10 residential homes, and 3 apartment buildings. In addition, Dreams With Wings offers an Adult Day Program, Supported Employment, Summer Camp Programs, Teen & YA Program, Behavior Supports, Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapies. We are located in the heart of the Highlands in Louisville.

Ticket Sales Are Ending Soon — Don't Miss Dare to Dream!

There’s still time to join us for Dare to Dream: A Caribbean Night on Thursday, September 17, at Progress Park.

Ticket sales close end of day, Friday, September 4, so secure your tickets today and be part of an unforgettable evening benefiting the children, teens, and adults served by Dreams With Wings.

Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour featuring live entertainment & music, beverages and hor d'houevers followed by a plated dinner, and a heartfelt family testimonial. There will also be a silent and live auction as part of the evening's activites, all while helping support the Dreams With Wings mission of empowering children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and autism.

This month we're celebrating the incredible artists in our program and the creativity, dedication, and joy they bring to the studio every week. We offer a special remembrance for our dear Sue Henley, who was a talented artist both visually and musically.

Throughout the year, our artists have been immersed in our Caribbean Nights collection, creating vibrant mixed media works inspired by the brilliant colors of tropical islands and the peaceful rhythm of the sea. Together, we've explored heavy texture, layered materials, and bold color palettes to create artwork that invites viewers not only to see it, but to experience it through multiple senses.

As we continue preparing for our annual fundraiser, we're also excited to have nearly 30 original works heading to the Kentucky State Fair. Every piece represents new artistic skills, growing confidence, and countless hours of creativity and collaboration.
