Enrollment and classes for the October - December session of KRM Citizenship Classes start today!

Classes are free, open to the public (you do not need to be a client of KRM), and you MUST bring your Green Card to enroll. These classes are taught in English and help with preparation, U.S. civics, tutoring and interview practice for the test to be naturalized as a U.S. citizen.

Yesterday, Medicaid coverage was stripped away from refugees and other humanitarian entrants - some of the most vulnerable people in need of access to healthcare. A decision that is nothing short of cruel, it will most certainly put lives at risk.

For many, the impacts are further compounded by the loss of SNAP eligibility, increasing inflation and cost of living, rising fear for safety, and other recent policy changes.

Don't miss the final event in the Celebrating Our Neighborhood 2026 series!

The fourth-annual series, in partnership with the Louisville Free Public Libraries (LFPL), focuses on the arts, culture, cuisine and history of Haiti, presented by members of the vibrant Haitian communities of Kentucky.

On Saturday, September 12th, 2-4 PM at South Central Regional Library, we present The Music & Arts of Haiti. The event features a special musical performance by singer/songwriter, Christella Philippe; a traditional drumming and dance ensemble performance by Haiti Creafo; and art and fashion displays by The Route.

This is a free, family-friendly event, but space is limited. Registration with LFPL is recommended to ensure seating availability. Visit LFPL.org/events or call (502) 574-1623 to register or for more information.
