CELEBRATING EARTH DAY AT ST. PAUL'S IN DETROIT
St. Paul of the Cross Passionist Retreat & Conference Center and Dominican Center: Spirituality for Ministry co-hosted 55 retreatants, Adrian Dominican Sisters and associates, and community members for an afternoon of celebration of Earth on Sunday, April 26th. Deacon Steve Morello, Native American minister for the Archdiocese of Detroit, offered blessings, prayers and inspiration in the Native American tradition. Joni Scott (pictured in the center below) gave the keynote on what we learn from trees. Attendees meditated and walked outside among the newly planted native trees....we all left more grounded and closer to the Creator and each other.
