When our ABSOLUTE FAVORITE OBGYN Dr. Tanya Franklin, MSPH MD FACOG reached out to us for doula training, we had to make it happen!!! These four new Doulas participated in our full spectrum training, and they will take the skills and information they acquired to apply them in their respective fields. To the campus of Howard University, to the medical school at UofL, and to the forefront of public health far and wide. Today was impactful and empowering. We were honored to share our knowledge with today's participants. ❤️

As winds down, we want to thank our collective of dedicated doulas. The ladies of The Brown Sugar Doula Collective have been busy growing and glowing as community doulas. Serving their community in many different ways. The journey and work of a doula looks different for everyone. For some doulas, they find their calling in education, some enjoy fertility and preconception, and there are others who specialize in all things postpartum. No matter where they land, they are making a lasting impact on the women and families they serve.

Today, our Doulas and our Executive Director were in the community, spreading the knowledge and resources of Mama to Mama. We distributed diapers, wipes, personal care kits, laundry kits, and PLENTY of helpful information.
