As winds down, we want to thank our collective of dedicated doulas. The ladies of The Brown Sugar Doula Collective have been busy growing and glowing as community doulas. Serving their community in many different ways. The journey and work of a doula looks different for everyone. For some doulas, they find their calling in education, some enjoy fertility and preconception, and there are others who specialize in all things postpartum. No matter where they land, they are making a lasting impact on the women and families they serve.

Today, our Doulas and our Executive Director were in the community, spreading the knowledge and resources of Mama to Mama. We distributed diapers, wipes, personal care kits, laundry kits, and PLENTY of helpful information.

Happy National Black Midwives Day to our Executive Director. She quite literally has her hand in all the places around Louisville, but becoming a Midwife is where her heart truly lies. Knowing that even as a senior student she's able offer homebirth services to our community warms our hearts.
