We kicked off with our annual community baby shower. We celebrated our Mama's, provided resources, and made some powerful connections with some expectant moms. We would like to thank all of our sponsors who contributed to this beautiful event.

As winds down, we want to thank our collective of dedicated doulas. The ladies of The Brown Sugar Doula Collective have been busy growing and glowing as community doulas. Serving their community in many different ways. The journey and work of a doula looks different for everyone. For some doulas, they find their calling in education, some enjoy fertility and preconception, and there are others who specialize in all things postpartum. No matter where they land, they are making a lasting impact on the women and families they serve.

Happy National Black Midwives Day to our Executive Director. She quite literally has her hand in all the places around Louisville, but becoming a Midwife is where her heart truly lies. Knowing that even as a senior student she's able offer homebirth services to our community warms our hearts.
