Today was a win.
All 11 misdemeanor charges have been upgraded to felony charges.
Accused defendant, Thomas Bagwell, sealed 11 puppies in a box and left it on the side of a rural road in Trimble County.
This is specifically called out on the new statute.
“1. Locked in a cage or kennel;
2. Sealed in a plastic bag or box;
3. Chained or tied down to restrict motion;
4. Pitched in a dumpster;”

Thankfully, the puppies are oke, but it doesn’t change the intent.
Lawmakers in Frankfort passed a law and decided that animals abused and tortured in Kentucky will now have a voice. Let’s make sure everyone hears their voice.

Thanks to your alls amazing help, the last 6 months we have been able to help 131 animals in our community!! 💜 114 dogs and 17 cats.

I am so very proud of the incredible family of animal supporters we have created.
I remember the very first animal we were able to help. I was so excited. And then a couple months later I ran into this dogs owner at Dillards. She ran over to introduce herself and to say thank you. She was so appreciative. 🥰

Each and every one of these dogs and cats needed help, they needed a surgery or a procedure or treatment that they may not have received without help from you. Thank you for your kindness.

We have some big plans for her future!!! Stick around and find out what we all can do next!!
