Congratulations to Karl-Anthony Towns on helping lead the New York Knicks to the NBA Finals.

As we celebrate this incredible achievement, we’re also celebrating the continued progress of the Karl-Anthony Towns Arena at the GO Ministries Leadership Development Complex in Tamboril.

While the world celebrates what Karl is accomplishing on the court, we are especially grateful for what he is building beyond it. Through his partnership with GO Ministries, Karl is investing in the future of young people throughout the Dominican Republic - creating opportunities, developing leaders, and leaving a legacy that extends far beyond the game of basketball.

Together, we are investing in the next generation of leaders and creating lasting impact for families and communities across the Dominican Republic.

Big things are happening this week at the GO Medical Clinic in the Dominican Republic.

This week, our team is launching a brand-new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, a huge step forward as we continue working to improve the quality of care for our patients.

As we transition to this new system and integrate all facets of the clinic, we’re excited about the outcomes we’ll see moving forward and what this advancement means for the future of care at GO Medical.

This past month, we hosted our very first GO Sports Padel Tournament in the Dominican Republic and we’re still celebrating all that God did through it.

For years, God has faithfully provided through partners in the U.S., and now we’re seeing Him open doors here in the DR. This tournament was an incredible opportunity to bring together families, organizations, and businesses to see and invest in what God is doing.

We’re so excited to share about a new partnership with Great Lakes Christian College!
Together, we’re launching a new study abroad program in the Dominican Republic.

It’s called Intercultural Ministries, and it’s designed to give students hands-on experience in global ministry—learning alongside people and communities.

Spring 2028 can’t come soon enough. Stay tuned for more details!

Evelyn, one of GO’s basketball prep girls, was given the opportunity to study and play at Portland Christian School in Louisville, KY.

This spring, her worlds collided in the most beautiful way. Portland came to the island on a mission trip where Evelyn was reunited with family and friends while serving alongside the family she’s built in the States.

Her teachers and coaches from the States met her Dominican coach.
Her new friends met her family. They stepped into and served the community she grew up in.

What started as an opportunity has become a story of connection and belonging.

We are praising God for young local leaders who live out their faith and impact every community they’re part of!

This spring, we got to try something new and really special.

We invited some of our former interns back to serve with our spring teams. One of those was Becca, who first came to the island as a team member in 2014, 2015, and served as an intern in 2019. This was her first time back since then!

When Becca first interned with us, she had just graduated college. Now she’s well into her career, but her heart for the island is just as strong as it always was.

Moments like this remind us why we say GO Ministries is a family. We are so thankful for people who continue coming back to empower local leaders to make disciples.

Angelo is from the bateys, communities with limited resources. Today he is one of the leaders who has become part of GO Sports Missions.

About a year and a half ago, Angelo came to our GO Sports Discovery with a desire to launch sports ministry in his community. Over the past year he completed both our trainings, and we’ve had the privilege of training him and sending him out.

Today, Angelo is part of a growing group of sports ministers reaching youth with the Gospel through sports. He walks alongside young people like a youth pastor, mentoring, discipling, and multiplying leaders.

Angelo’s own story with the church began years ago through one of our nutrition centers, and now he carries a deep passion to reach the next generation the same way he was reached.

Today he’s pouring into dozens of kids, and it has been incredible to watch how God has grown this ministry over the past year.
