“Your power is within you. It is not outside of you.” Yesterday’s Sunday’s message, Rev. Raamesie Umandavi reminded us that we are more than our circumstances, our struggles, or our past. When life takes an unexpected turn, our point of power is not found in controlling what happens around us. It is found in reconnecting with the divine presence within us. As we heal, grow, and align with our highest selves, we become a source of peace, hope, and transformation for the world around us.

Last Sunday, more than 20 people gathered at The Parklands for our Fishing with Friends event! It was a wonderful afternoon of fishing and enjoying the beauty of nature together.

One of the highlights of the day was a father and daughter who had never been fishing before. The father caught four fish and was so excited that his enthusiasm spread to everyone around him!

A special thank you to Cyrena Ferrell for organizing and leading this event. We heard several people asking when the next fishing outing will be, which tells us it was a great day indeed. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the day so special! 🎣

This year’s theme is “A Disco Evening on the Love Train” and we’re inviting everyone to step into their best 70s/disco-inspired looks for a night of dinner, dancing, and fun!

Introducing Peace Is Every Step: A Walking Meditation Meet-Up!
The Legacy of Love Ministry is now offering a new monthly opportunity to connect with spirit, nature, and community through mindful walking.
This gathering begins with a brief time of spiritual enrichment, followed by a 30-minute walk. The first half of our walk will be in silence, allowing space for reflection, presence, and inner peace. Afterward, we’ll enjoy light refreshments together.
Whether you’re new to meditation or have an established mindfulness practice, all are welcome!

Help Make Our Silent Auction a Success!
As we prepare for our Annual Alan Scherer Gala, we’re looking for donations for our Silent Auction!

Take a look at a few of the wonderful baskets and auction items from last year’s gala for inspiration. Whether you’re an individual, family, ministry, group, or business, we’d love to have your support.

Ideas include:
🪩Themed gift baskets
🪩Gift cards or a gift card tree
🪩Handmade items
🪩Experiences or services
🪩Business donations
🪩Individual auction items

No donation is too small! If you have a smaller item to contribute, it may be combined with other donations to create a themed basket or larger auction package.

You don’t have to create a basket on your own, either. Consider partnering with friends, family members, or your ministry group to put something together.

We’ll be passing around a sign-up sheet on Sunday for those interested in donating. If you have questions or would like to donate an item, please contact:
