Yesterday there was an Interim Joint Committee meeting of the Veterans, Military Affairs, & Public Protection Committee. Discussion was held regarding a proposal on equipping fire apparatus with traffic safety barriers. KPFF Legislative Affairs Director Jeff Taylor, KY Fire Kentucky Fire Commission Director Bruce Roberts and KY League of Cities Government Affairs Director Gracie Kelly testified, amongst others, on the subject.

After consideration and consultation with affected Locals, the eligible members of the KPFF Executive Board have voted to endorse State Representative Deanna Frazier Gordon in the primary election for the office of KY House Representative District 81
