Distinguished Young Women of Louisville and Bullitt County The Distinguished Young Women experience is open to every eligible young woman and there is no cost to participate.

Distinguished Young Women of Louisville is an official local preliminary of Distinguished Young Women, a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholarship, leadership and talent in young women. In addition to earning scholarships for college, those who participate in the Distinguished Young Women program develop friendships, self-confidence and other life skills that pave the way

I am beyond grateful for this wonderful opportunity and thankful for everyone’s support through this journey! From meeting incredible young women on the first day to laughing every day along the way, I will carry these memories with me as I head to nationals!

Well, congratulations are in order! As we’ve been sharing this week, Savannah and Trisha participated in the state program this weekend and they both did Jefferson and Bullitt counties proud! They both did wonderful in all the categories and it was easy to see that our girls were well-loved and appreciated! ❤️ We are also overjoyed to officially announce that at the conclusion of the program, Trisha was selected as the 2026 DYW of Kentucky and will be going on the the national level ( ) in June!! 🎉🎉🎉

It’s show day! We cannot wait to kick off our showcase weekend with the First Preliminary tonight at 7:00 pm EST. Tickets are available online or at the Singletary Center box office before the show. You can also purchase live stream access for $20 at https://kydywlive.com/.

You can also purchase flowers and gifts to send back to a participant from our official florist, Best of Flowers. They only accept cash or checks. See you tonight!
