Distinguished Young Women of Louisville and Bullitt County The Distinguished Young Women experience is open to every eligible young woman and there is no cost to participate.

Distinguished Young Women of Louisville is an official local preliminary of Distinguished Young Women, a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholarship, leadership and talent in young women. In addition to earning scholarships for college, those who participate in the Distinguished Young Women program develop friendships, self-confidence and other life skills that pave the way for future success. It is with a heavy heart that we share that our Judges Chairperson and beloved Committee member, Mistianna Barnes has unexpectedly passed away. The arrangements and visitation info is below for those of you that want to pay your respects or give your condolences. Mistianna was such a force and a light to those around her and will be missed dearly. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. ❤️
