We’ve been talking with other disability advocates in Kentucky about a disability coalition or, a DIS*Co, if you will 😂 so we’ve started a discord server for easier community access to a disability advocacy hub. Bear with us as we continue to work on the back end of discord as this is a brand new server and we are not incredibly familiar with the website/app.

If you are a Kentucky-based disability advocacy organization feel free to reach out when joining the server and we will appoint someone from your organization as a moderator so your organization can share up to date and accurate information and events! We have preemptively added a few organizations and would love for more organizations to reach out and further participate. So please join us, share information, build community and let’s make this coalition a reality!

Hi friends of the Seekers!

The Olmstead decision was decided June 22, 1999, and this week, in honor of Olmstead's anniversary, ISP is taking some time to reflect on what Olmstead means for our Disabled community.

Olmstead was a landmark decision in disability rights history, and as we face recent Medicaid cuts, we are reminded of how life was before Olmstead and its related laws and policies. The fight is not over. We must not go back.

We care for each other.

Please take a moment to learn and share your thoughts and feelings about our fight for our rights, both in the past and present.

Hi friends of the Seekers!

We just want to take a few important seconds to thank our donors and our sponsors for our most recent Unconference: Uninterrupted, where we discussed privacy and body autonomy. It went great! Thank you to everybody involved!!

We are so excited about the connections that we made during our time building community together.

Looking forward to next year and deepening our impact of our voice!
