We have a great need for 8 volunteers this Friday, Aug. 15, in our 10:00 am - 1:00 pm serving slot.
We are also short-handed next Wednesday and Thursday (Aug. 19 & 20) in the serving slots.

It was a bittersweet occasion as our Wednesday volunteers celebrated and bid farewell to our regular cook and past Board member, Ted Klaren (red apron, striped polo). Needless to say, we will miss Ted's service and support of the Kitchen and wish him well as he moves forward in his retirement. Thank you ,Ted!

We starting a new serving line today - essentially reversing the flow so our guests now enter the building from the street and exit directly into our outdoor dining area. Our hope is that it will reduce the litter in the neighborhood and keep guests from sitting on our sidewalk and those of neighbors.
