The Woman's Club of Louisville

The Woman's Club of Louisville Founded March 1, 1890 by Mrs. B. F. Today it remains the primary recipient of fund-raising and interest by the membership.

Avery, The Woman's Club of Louisville was organized with the continuing purpose of promoting and supporting civic improvements, championing the educational and philanthropic needs of the community, especially where women and children are concerned and cultivating the fine arts. Throughout the years, whether in times of regional disaster or national crisis, the members have responded with service a

nd resources. In 1948 the Woman's Club of Louisville co-founded the Louisville Deaf-Oral School, now named the Heuser Hearing Institute, a preschool providing early intervention for hearing impaired infants and toddlers. Through the Charity Fund, established in 1967, many
other local charities have also benefited.

A heartfelt thank you to The Woman's Club of Louisvillean’s Club of Louisville for their generous donation! 💙

Fun fact: The Woman’s Club of Louisville actually founded Heuser Hearing & Language Academy in 1948. Their vision created the foundation for the work we continue today, serving children with hearing loss and speech/language delays.

Because of them, we exist. Thank you for your enduring support!
