Gilda's Club is excited to be part of the Kosair Kares Abilities Fair on Saturday, August 29th from 10-2 at Kosair Shrine on Bardstown Road!

This event will include activities, fun for all ages and info for individuals of with varying abilities, as well as their families and caregivers. This FREE event allows attendees to learn more about community programs and services by connecting with providers from Kentuckiana!

For nearly 20 years, Chad Cobb has helped shape Gilda's Club Kentuckiana into a place of comfort, hope, and connection.

Inspired by the loss of his father to cancer, Chad has generously shared his time, talent, and heart—from designing our very first clubhouse to helping create welcoming spaces and memorable events that continue to serve thousands of individuals and families.

His creativity has transformed spaces, but his compassion has transformed lives.

Today, we proudly celebrate Chad's remarkable volunteer legacy and thank him for his friendship, vision, and unwavering support. ❤️

When Dion's son Matthew was diagnosed with leukemia at age 12, his family found support at Gilda's Club Kentuckiana during nearly a decade of extraordinary challenges.

After Matthew's passing, Dion returned—not only as a bereaved parent, but as a volunteer Greeter who now welcomes other families with the same compassion his family received.

His story is one of love, resilience, community and carrying a legacy forward.
