Happy to report all parties are in agreement and working together in keeping charitable gaming machines operating.

"Kentucky Horse Racing & Gaming and Shirley’s Way, Inc., jointly announce the voluntary dismissal of the lawsuit challenging KHRGC’s November 21, 2025 order to disable certain electronic pulltab devices. The order followed multiple reports of illegal “fishing” activities that resulted in the theft of tens of thousands of dollars. The manufacturers of the machines subsequently made updates and KHRGC has since received no reports of fishing. The dismissal is not an admission of fault by KHRGC or the charities, and instead reflects the parties’ shared interest in conserving resources and avoiding further litigation."

You can still game at our office located next to Cluckers, Hideout, Third Street, Indian Trail, Fern Creek and More Shenanighans on Bardstown rd.

This is tough to post.... effectively immediately per the KY Horse Racing Commission all Grover and CGT games have been ordered to be shutdown due to a theft ring in the state. The problem has been fixed but every game has to be shutdown immediately. They also made some additional changes that will impact every charity who operates gaming machines and we are all trying to work through the entire process. The impact to Shirley's Way is unimaginable. All giving from us including people who are sick with cancer, the 3500 kids we feed every Friday and all donations to schools, kids programs, little leagues, reading programs, homeless initiatives and everything else we have funded will end. We are heartbroken to post this. Stay tuned for additional details.
