The Louisville Rotary Club had the pleasure of hearing from incoming senior at North Clay High School, Briley Mullens, about her involvement and roles in FCCLA at the local and state levels. Her willingness to volunteer and participate in groups like FCCLA inspires groups like Rotary to believe that the next generation will continue to serve their communities. Briley's mom, Niki, came in support of Briley's program. This week's program was brought to us by Rotarian Collin Moseley. Thank you, Briley & Niki, for joining us!

On Friday, June 5, 2026, the Louisville Rotary Club heard from one of our own Rotarians, Mr. Collin Moseley. Collin was asked to do the program on Friday by Rotarian Chris Rinehart to inform the group of things happening in the legislature for the State of Illinois. Collin is the acting state director for the Illinois Freedom Caucus. Collin explained some new laws that have been introduced in Congress, the recently passed budget, and the possibility of the Chicago Bears moving to the neighboring state of Indiana. The conversation was enlightening, and we thank both Collin and Chris for the program. 🇺🇸

The Louisville Rotary Club was excited to hear from Clint and Rachel Holkenbrink with Fat Dad’s Ice Cream Shop last Friday. They shared about their journey thus far and some exciting upcoming things they plan to introduce to customers in June! We thank them for spending time with our group and thank Farron for inviting them.

We've had some great programs at the Louisville Rotary Club over the last couple of months.
We want to thank them for taking time out of their busy schedules to speak to our group and inform us of happenings in our community and abroad. Programs include stories about national media, local school needs, and personal recovery stories! We appreciate them all!!

At the end of January, the Louisville Rotary Club said farewell to one of its pillars. Beth Sulsberger resigned from the Louisville Rotary Club as she steps into retirement. Beth has been such a valued member of the club, always keeping everything in order and on task! Thank you for 10 wonderful years, Beth Sulsberger!! Pictured is current Club President Derrian Wood presenting Beth with a plaque of appreciation for 10 years of service.

On behalf of the Louisville Rotary Club, Beth Sulsberger presents a check to Amanda Bailey of the North Clay High School Track Program. The check for $1,040 represents half of the net profits from the Rotary Glow Run held at the 2025 Fall Harvest Festival. Louisville Rotary would like to thank the NCHS Track for partnering with them for this event.
