This Thursday at 6:30 pm cst, we will gather together for a candlelight vigil to honor the memory of Trooper Hayden Phillips.

Hayden was very special to the Troopers and staff at Post 15, as well as our community. His impact reached far beyond him being a Trooper, and his memory will forever remain a part of the Kentucky State Police family.

We invite our community to join us as we come together to remember Hayden, honor his life, and support his family.

During Trooper Katan Parker's latest media briefing, the Kentucky State Police released the details of Trooper Hayden Phillips visitation and funeral service.

Visitation:
Saturday, October 3, 2026
10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Trooper Phillips, his beautiful family, and the Kentucky State Police. Rest easy Sir, we have the watch.

Today, we face one of the most difficult moments an agency can endure as we announce the loss of one of our own. Trooper Hayden Phillips, Unit 369, made the ultimate sacrifice while
patrolling I-65 in Warren County. He was assigned to Post 3 Bowling Green and was a graduate of Cadet Class 103. His dedication to duty and commitment to the commonwealth will not
be forgotten.
Our hearts break for Trooper Phillips’ family, loved ones, and fellow troopers as we grieve this tremendous loss. We will carry his memory with us, honor the life he lived and the badge he wore, and stand together as an agency to support this family in the days ahead.

KSP is searching for a bluish gray Honda Civic that was present during a trooper-involved shooting on I-65 NB near the 38 MM in Warren County. (Alabama tag # TN018596.) This occurred earlier today. If you see this vehicle, please contact law enforcement. Trooper Katan Parker
