Little Orphans Kitten Rescue, Inc. Saving tiny lives since 2011. Our mission is to reduce the euthanasia of neonatal kittens by providing support for their care. Little Orphans Kitten Rescue, Inc.

(LOKR) was established to provide care for orphaned kittens under six weeks of age. We specialize in bottle-feeding kittens from newborn to weaning. We believe that no kitten should be euthanized because no one can/will care for him. We accept kittens rescued from feral cats, found by caring people, or too young for shelters and other rescues to care for. Our fosters are based in the Louisville area and work from their homes. Contact us to make an appointment, or keep an eye out in our Events section for opportunities to see the kittens!

One of the clinics that has our Stork Kits sent us this picture of a litter that came in! We hope the Stork Kit helps the finder take care of these sweeties.

We are excited to announce that we delivered the first batch of Stork Kits to a veterinary clinic this weekend! 🐱

These Stork Kits contain the basic supplies and instructions needed to foster nursing, orphaned kittens.

This is Phase 1 of our Stork Project. At this time, we are unable to hand out kits to the general public, so the kits will only be available at a couple of clinics in Louisville. Hopefully we will be able to expand the project in the future.

Meet Scoop! 💕

This tiny survivor was found all alone on a porch on a cold, rainy morning — no mama in sight and a few neighborhood cats not too happy to share space. Thankfully, one of our fosters came to the rescue and quite literally scooped her up using a cat food scoop (hence the name 😸)!

Stay tuned for updates as she grows! 💗
