Every Friday, our Care Services Administrator Terry sits down with a resident and helps her learn something new on her phone. Not because he has to. Not because it’s part of his job description. Because it matters to her.

That’s the kind of care we believe in. In Assisted Living, it’s about more than meeting day-to-day needs. It’s knowing our residents, encouraging their independence and taking the time to help them keep doing the things that matter to them.

Sometimes, care looks like a little extra time and a whole lot of patience. ❤️

The Louisville Dulcimer Society brought their music and fun to our living room, giving our residents a chance to enjoy some beautiful tunes and experience something a little different. 🎼

It’s a good day to be a resident at The Village patio home community! Yesterday brought a lunch outing to one of our favorites, The Old Spaghetti Factory, followed by an engaging presentation from Deacon Pat Harris back at our community center.

August 18, 1958. Before there was Wesley Manor Retirement Community, there was a vision.

On this date, the Articles of Incorporation for the Louisville Annual Conference, Board of Hospitals and Homes, Incorporated, were certified by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, marking an important beginning in the story that would eventually become Wesley Manor.

This August, we're going back to that beginning and sharing the stories of the people who continue to create new beginnings here today.

This is where our story begins. 💛
