Congratulations on 5 years of service Josh

Today we had the opportunity to celebrate two incredible members of our team and their Scouting milestones 🎉

Keilah Hieb marked her 1-year work anniversary and received her engraved Louisville Slugger bat—an LHC tradition recognizing the impact our team members make in their first year. From recruiting successes to creative communications and a standout Uncharted Cubs event, Keilah has brought energy, ideas, and a positive spirit to everything she does.

Josh Hutcheson celebrated 5 years of service and was honored with a commemorative etched bottle. Over the years, Josh has provided steady leadership and played a key role in the success of the Wapiti District and beyond. His dedication to Scouting and our council continues to make a lasting difference.

Thank you both for your commitment to Scouting and to the youth and families we serve. We’re grateful to have you on the team!

Join the Wapiti District for an exciting weekend of fishing, outdoor fun, and Scouting adventure! Whether you're new to fishing or looking to sharpen your skills, this event is for you.

• Fishing with guidance from Certified Angling Educators
• BB Shooting
• Slingshot
• Special event patch
• Camping, meals, and prizes!

A Scout Is Reverent 🙏

Today, Sunday, February 8, 2026, we celebrate Scout Sunday. This is a special day for Scouts to reflect on the Scout Law and the importance of being reverent—showing respect for faith, beliefs, and the values that guide our lives.

We are grateful for our chartering organizations, faith partners, families, and communities who support Scouting and help shape strong character in our youth.
