The Illinois 4-H Youth Leadership Team will be collecting canned and other non-perishable items in the Orr Building at the state fair on August 14–16.

🏆 Prizes will be awarded to the top three counties that collect the most items!

Most needed items include pasta/pasta sauce, low-sodium canned fruits, vegetables, and soup, peanut butter, whole grain cereal, crackers, laundry soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper, diapers, and deodorant.

Help support local 4-H community service by bringing your donations and making a difference for families in need across Illinois! 🍀

Next week is our 4-H dog and cat show. Be sure to join us at the Ingraham Community Building to cheer on our 4-H youth!

The Cat show will be hosted in the indoor building. The dog show will be outside by the pavillion.

🍀 What a fantastic day at our annual Cloverbud Camp! 🍀

Our young campers had a blast exploring a variety of exciting 4-H project areas, including animal science, visual arts, horticulture, agriculture, and aerospace. Through hands-on activities, they learned new skills, discovered new interests, and experienced all that 4-H has to offer!

We wrapped up the day with some water balloon fun and delicious ice cream sundaes—a perfect ending to an amazing day filled with learning, laughter, and new friendships. ☀️🎨🐄🌱🚀🍨

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's Cloverbud Camp a success. We loved spending the day with these enthusiastic young learners and can't wait to see them at future 4-H events! 💚

Illinois 4-H families and clubs are invited to experience Life Lessons on the Diamond: Buck O'Neil and the Negro Baseball Leagues, an inspiring educational exhibit celebrating the life and legacy of baseball legend and humanitarian Buck O'Neil. Discover powerful stories of leadership, perseverance, teamwork, and character—then cheer on the Thrillville Thrillbillies as they take the field!

‼️2025 Fair Premium Checks‼️

If your child exhibited any project (general project or livestock) at the 2025 Clay County 4-H Fair last year, they have a check to pick up.

Want to double check before making a trip to town, call our office at 618-662-3124.

ALL checks must be picked up at the Clay County Extension Office (210 S Church St, Louisville) and must be signed for. Anyone from the family can pick it up.
