Monster Dolls at the Kentucky State Fair

Also just as a reminder, the date for you to enter your items is fast approaching. July 10th is your deadline. At this time you can purchase a book of "nicely" discounted entry tickets. So if you've ever thought about entering those delicious Grandma's Lemon Bars in Culinary or that Scrapbook page in Hobbies, don't forget your entry deadline. Again, July 10th is your deadline. But also your items don't have to be done on that date. That's just the date to tell us you're planning on bringing your items. Your dates to drop things off are Saturday August 9th and Sunday August 10th. All that info will be in your paperwork. Check out your classes and get those entries done.😂😂 See you that Intake weekend. 👋👋

Welcome to our new Monster Dolls fans. Here we are again within 60 days from the opening day of the fair. August 14th. This year we have plans for both Saturdays to have our Monster Creation Team out in the North Wing Lobby. We have lots of room out there. The two days of Monster Creation Day are Saturday August 16th and Saturday August 23rd. Both days the time our Monster Creators Helpers will be out in the lobby should be around 1:00 pm. If this changes, I'll let you know. But plan to come see us again this year. We'll be looking for you. 😂😂😂

Hello Monster Doll fans. Haven't posted anything for a while so sorry about that. Finally we have the 2021 Kentucky State Fair in the books All packed up and ready for next year. And we're keeping our finger crossed that the state fair board lets up have the Monster Doll Saturday events. We haven't heard anything about a yes or no but we'll let you know as soon as we know something. Keep checking back. We'll keep you posted when we know something. Everybody have a great holiday weekend.

Well, we're a little less than two weeks from the start of the Kentucky State Fair. We as the Textiles People, we're excited but also disappointed. As I posted a while back, no Monster Dolls this year.

But for those of you who are still coming to the fair, still come see us in the Textiles Department. Look around and stop to say Hi‼️ but keep your fingers crossed for 2022 that we can have both Monster Doll Days. We understand why, to keep as many people safe as possible. But yes, we're disappointed also.

Stop by the Textiles Department and say Hi‼️ and let us know if you still have your Monster Doll. See you in a couple weeks.👋👋👋

Just a reminder!!! If you're planning on entering items in the Kentucky State Fair, today, July 8th, is your deadline at 11:59 tonight without a penalty. Saturday, July 10th, is the deadline WITH a penalty, at 11:59 pm. Don't let this opportunity slip by.

Hello KSF Monster Dolls followers! Hope everybody is ready for some fun this year at the Kentucky State Fair in August. Mark your calendar for Thursday, August 19, 2021 through Sunday August 29, 2021. But I have a bit of bad news. We won't be able to have our Monster Dolls event on either Saturday in the Textiles Department.

The Kentucky State Fair Board has told us that there will be no demo events in the Textiles Department and that includes the Monster Dolls events. I realize why they told us this. We usually draw a crowd when we have the Monster Dolls event and we can't have a crowd this year. For safety reasons. And I totally agree with them. We want everybody safe and to be able to stay safe after the fair.

So please plan to come visit with us in the Textiles Department. Stop by and say hello. We're disappointed too so for you to stop by and say hello will help with the disappointment.

Good evening Monster Doll fans. I hope you've had a good fall and winter. Was looking at the calendar this morning and we're about 6 months out from the 2020 Kentucky State Fair. The Textile Department Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents are knee deep in planning for the 2020 fair. And as usual those plans include having two Saturday's of making Monster Dolls. So mark your calendar for Saturday, August 22nd and Saturday August 29th, 2020.

If any of you were at our local Quilter's Day Out festivities, a few of the Team Members were promoting our Monster Dolls. We made some Monster Dolls to let event goers see what they're missing when you make a Monster Doll. And we're hoping that those of you who talked to us at the event will also come join us to make a Monster Doll.

And for those of you who are Monster Doll "Repeaters", don't forget to tell your friends about all the fun you have making a new friend. Then maybe they can come too. But mark you calendar to come see us again in the Textiles Department around 1:00 p.m. on both Saturdays. We'll be making Monster Dolls again this year.
