It is with the heaviest of hearts that we say goodbye to one of our most devoted advocates, John King. He went to his heavenly home on Christmas Eve, following a courageous battle with cancer over the past seven months. John served as Chairman of our local Board of Trustees, a former Light The Night Chair and was recognized this past October as an honored hero at this year’s event. He brought so much awareness to our mission while raising over $250,000, all in honor of his late brother. We will miss his big smile and willingness to always help in any way. Our prayers are with his family, friends and our entire city as we mourn the loss of this great soul. Thank you John and family for all you’ve done for LLS.
